I'll go Up the hill one time only, via the ski lift..and that's it. We always stop at the hot dog stand around the corner from the Ski lift. They have cute sand buckets with shovels for the kids meal there. We get our daughter a life vest for free at the towel rental hut. The only thing costly during the day there for me is the locker rental itself. I ended up bringing too much stuff and had to get two lockers, so that cut into my food money!! Pack light or trust your stuff to still be on a chaise when you return from the slides.

I have prescription goggles for scuba diving which I love (though makes it a little scary in the middle of the ocean when you surface and take your goggles off).
