We got all strapped in and then he panicked and made the cast member let him off. THANK GOD! I insisted he let me off too so I could console my son...... yeah that was it.

And Mr. X? that is my full intention when my kids are grown. I will be a cast member. I absolutely will. Part of the purpose for my now retired Dad wanting to go this time is because he has toyed with the idea of relocating there from Newport Or for a few years. He wants to look around a bit at apts etc....

Don't worry,; they scare Stephen Colbert to this day. ;-)

Anyhow, the fireworks scared me as a child. For some reason I had a phobia of all things fire (fireworks, fireplaces, etc...). Also the load pop did nothing to help. The 4th of July was ten times worse for me than anything Halloween could deliver.

I asked, “Is it fast?” “Uh huh,” she replied. Then my mom mimics how I gave out a long drawn out, “Noooooooo. Maybe when I’m 5.” The next three years, whenever I was asked if I wanted to go on, my reply was, “Maybe when I’m *subsequent year*” I don’t remember any of this, but my mother seems to tells the story every time we go to DL to this day. I’m 34. Gotta love mothers, right? ;-)

In hindsight, I wonder if I would have been able to get on anyway as a youngster due to height restrictions.

When our two oldest DDs went on Star Tours, they each had different reactions. The oldest loved it and was totally convinced that we were in space and she was thrilled. The middle DD hated every minute of Star Tours and when we got off, all the way down the exit ramp she kept saying, "I never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever want to go on that ride again! And tell Aunt Debbie (My best friend who stayed with our then 11 month old DD) that I never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever want to go on that ride. Ever, ever!" We had to hide our laughter so she would not feel even more unhappy with the ride, but it was just too funny. Can you tell that we still tell that story often and rib her just a littl bit over it? She was just so cute with her "ever, ever, ever's!"

Youngest DD will not go on Screamin' because of the loop. Scares her to no end. She used to be afraid of Space until she went with a friend to WDW and rode it then. Now she loves it. I keep telling her that if she loves Space, then Screamin' is just not that bad and the loop is over in less than 2 seconds.
