what would attendance be without free dining?

    Free Dining is like... however is what we were discussing. How the Six Sigma business model is good. Look at the value added for free dining (which is built into the price) or how Toyota had just over 17 million safety recalls last year (including defective brakes and badly rusted frames and...) and only recalled another 1.7 million this week. Not bad for the "most reliable" auto company.

    Free Dining sucks.

    One thing I always loved about Lp is the ability to converse and explore ideas. some boards delete posts that deviate (albeit pertenantly).

    And FWIW, LEAN Six Sigma (sadly I do have my belt) are the cause of a lot of the walmarting and declining of products including Disney, most apparent in WDW (and maybe DLP)

    That is interesting, in the UK market right now they are advertising buy 1 week get one week free on park hoppers and free dining for the duration.

    Still have no desire to go.

    Haunts, my mom & brother did the free quick service & said it was a waste for them. The enjoy The Castle, Dinner Shows & the like. Lower room rates would entice me to visit.. not so much on food. I got mail from Mickey last week about 40% off The Wilderness Lodge but, I'm waiting for The Fantasyland expansion to be completed.

    ...so we're cruisin' instead!!! DCL here we come!

Agreed, the food deal is not as great a deal when they have continued to lower quality in the restaurants as a result. same thing is happening at DLP. they do not give free dining, but the dining plan has become popular, and since that has happened, they have simplified menues and also turned more table service restaurants into buffets (not a fan, not sure how many people wash their hands properly at theme parks)
