We have REALLY LATE primaries here in Texas (thank you, idiot legislators who caused this this time around), and since I don't have a job, well, hey - I now have the ability to at least earn a little bit of an honest living on Saturday and then on the 29th by working the polls.

On Staurday my girlfriend and I attended a Beer, Food and Wine Festival with some friends, which was a lot of fun. On Sunday we returned to Salzburg and we spent a quiet evening in front of the TV and ordered Japanese food. Yesterday was an official holiday over here and we used the day to meet some friends.

That'll likely change after I get a good night's sleep, though... it's almost 10 pm and I get up at 4 am then worked elections (it's Primary Day here in Texas) in a fairly busy precinct today from 0600-2000 and just got home after turning in the ballot box & all our supplies about half an hour ago. Not even a nice, coolish shower helped that much so far. Oy.
