The Rio is a great place to stay all the rooms are large suites which includes a fridge which is impossible to get anywhere else. Because we can't drive across the race tracks, getting from our pit to the primary timing tower less than a miles away is an almost ten mile trip. And if I want to see the cars at any one of the four start lines during my off hours it's about half that distance. Heaven help me if my kid doesn't work timing with me and I have to drive him to work at yet another location, or the same location at a different time of day. Wow, my vacation is tiring me out before I even leave for it, LOL!

I got my sort-of-son to help so he could see how to check oil and fluids and learn to check tire pressure and such. Vacation starts in 3 days, racing starts Saturday at noon!
