Yes, first of all the 49'ers get only a tiny bit of the film, yet you would think Cali was New York as far as the influence on it of African Americans. Hispanics and Europeans have had far far more influence on Cali then Black people have had.

But I understand Disney is the most PC company on earth so I understand the reasons why it is that way.

It's not that things were made up in the film, so much as the amount of influence certain groups of people had on Ca that makes it revisionist history.

Ah... so you think there are too many Black people in the film.

I have only see the movie once, so I don't recall much about it, other than I thought it was well done. I certainly didn't walk out saying, "You'd think Califonia was built by Black people" as you seem to have.

Tell us the scenes where there are Black people, and what their roles are in the film, then we'll tell you where you are faulty... somehow I don't think you'll be able to.

How did I know a lib would have to play the race card right off the bat?

Taking away what Hispanics and Europeans and Chinese have done in favor of making some people feel good is sad, and racist and made up history.

See if it's a film on history and you put people in there in numbers that were not true that is racist even if it makes you feel good.

The Truth is never Racist, just the truth.

That's true too, with all the good things that could have been in the film about Cali history they would need to show how evil those white people are.

Go to the film and tell me how much time was spent on the 49'ers and how much on other groups then get back to me.

As stated above, it seems like you think that Black people are over-represented in the film. As I recall, only one of the (10 or so) vignettes revolves around African Americans. (Unless of course you are referring to Whoopie's appearance in many of the scenes. If that's your contention, than I would say that you don't really have a grasp of the "device" the film makers were using.)

This is a short film that tries to touch upon a few of the several things/events/people/groups that make up the state. I think that most people realize that some things would have to be omitted due to the restraints of the medium. You seem to think this constitutes "revisionist history". I find that thinking faulty.

Cite me a book or film that you feel is not "revisionist history", and by your logic I could show you how it is (either by omission, or non-precise percentage representation).

Funny, some people complain that Disney glosses over negative events. You on the other hand, want to ignore them altogether.

That's a big part of it, first of all Whoopie is a black racist and since she is the Queen of Cali in the film I guess she represents what Disney feels is California.

You are obviously avoiding specific questions, because you can't answer them. The truth is staring you in the face, and you can't handle it, i.e. you've got a bigoted view, and people are calling you on it.
