I think the chances of him running again are very slim. He's pushing 68, has plenty of bucks, and doesn't need the gig any longer. He's always been a media spotlight hog, so why should we be surprised by his public option temper tantrums? Lieberman is either going to retire in 2013 or take a cushy seven-figure lobbyist job on K Street for the insurance industry. Doesn't matter if he gets kicked out of the Dem caucus or loses his committee chair. In his mind, he's already checked out and is working for his Connecticut corporate masters as an under-the-radar lame duck Senator.
