    For appetizers we will probably have deviled eggs, chips & salsa w/cream cheese, and veggies and dip.

    It's at our house every year. It makes it easier, that way my family and hubby's family come. And the other good thing is everyone brings something, like my MIL does the turkey, my mom does the roast, BIL does the mac & cheese and rice......so I don't have to do all the work. Which is always good. :)

    We also received a Honey Baked ham from my in-laws, so we'll be enjoying that for the next week. Mmmmm.

    I didn't realize prime rib was (apparently) a traditional dish on Christmas. I think 5 here have posted that as their Christmas dinner! Mom used to make turkey most of the time - we all loved it. Once in a while, lasagna, which was really good, but not as "unique" as the turkey spread, which was only had twice a year!

    I like the prime rib idea... I only have prime rib at Scary Farm VIP dinner, or fancy brunches (which I haven't been to in a while). Now I want some! :-D
