When it comes onthe radio they turn it up and sing along, emphasizing the mispronounced words. It's very annoying.

So there you go. Also, if 'My Favorite Things' isn't considered a Christmas song, is 'Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow' also not a Christmas song? It just talks about bundling up, staying warm, but not Christmas. And 'Winter Wonderland' doesn't specifically reference Christmas as I recall. Just sayin...

My Sister and I tend to sing that part very loudly and then burst into giggles. It reminds me of Christmas more than any other song. I dislike "Oh Christmas Tree". I had a record (yes, a real record kids) of the Scooby-Doo Christmas story that I used to listen to over and over again. They sang that song at the end and for some reason it just got on my nerves. I still remember it to this day. Ugh.

Christmas is in *Winter!* (not yelling at you Jim, just at the general thought if some people cry out those "aren't" Christmas songs). I think you have to have a little Scrooge in you if you're gonna protest that snowy and wintery songs aren't Christmas songs or shouldn't be played/heard at this time of year. Christmas is in winter, the holiday season is in winter, you do all the shopping and parties and family get-togethers in winter, *and*, winter lasts until March, so these specific songs have an even longer "shelf life" on the turntable (bear with my terminology here, lol). I guess I've just grown up hearing all kinds of holiday songs at the Christmas season, so when I hear "wintery" songs in general I immediately think "Christmas".
