Another one that I love is a couple of unused meal ticket forms for the old Carnation Ice Cream Parlor and Restaurant, from my early working days. These are the kind that the server wrote the order on, then fed into the register to actually print the order on the ticket/card. I have just a few unused ones.

My Maleficent character of the month pin. Not just that it is worth money or really rare or really cool, but the story that goes with it. We were going to the Club that morning for a special breakfast. My husband and our dear friend was in line to get in with me. The people handing out the tickets to get the COM pin asked us if we wanted one since we were there early but not able to get in that line because of the Club event. I said yes, my two menfolk said no, that it was silly to want something by getting in line at 7 am for...of course each time I see one on Ebay, I send them the going rate of the pin! HA-HA! But really, too much to list here that is just the cool and dear parts of things I have from DL. OH!!!!!!!!! I have one of the jewels. You know, from the castle overlay for the 50th? I have a giant red one.

I also have Shag's Fantasyland purple bag and the green Disneyland carry-on bag, one of each. I haven't been able to ask him to autograph those but this gal is hopeful. I got the jewel from a kind friend I met here on the boards. I'll name him if he says I can, but he was invited to the Disneyland yard sale and got one for me and another poster here. She got the giant clear one that looks like a large diamond and I got the ruby red one that is like a large drop. Suits us both perfect!

Someday, that one will be vintage, but for now, I just liked it because it had so many characters on it. I bought my first vintage bracelet a little over a year ago, and since then, it has become an obsession. I never really intended to become a collector of them...I just saw a bracelet that I liked on E-Bay, I bought it, and it ballooned from there. I did a bit of research, and before I knew it, I was on the hunt for particular bracelets.

Hey, when I was a kid (and everytime since) and rode Pirates, I dreamed of jumping out of the boat at the part where the pirate skeleton is lying in bed surrounded by gold and jewels. Or, if I could just stretch my arm out far enough, I could grab some booty. Now THAT would be a great souvenier. PS: It IS real gold...isn't it?
