It's not like I didn't know they exsisted...I just didn't like being on a schedule. I was content to ride things at my leisure. I MISSED OUT. We got passes for Indy and Thunder on a whim last time and realized what we had been missing. Fools, we were.

Fast Pass Splash Mountain and ride if it's not too long. Go to DCA ride Soarin, TOT, and Screamin. Go back to the hotel...naptime. Head back into the park usually grab clam chowder in a bread bowl. Then enjoy walking past the hour waits with our fastpasses. I've collected 24 fastpasses in one day and it makes the night very fun!

Always keeping an eye on whey the window opens for another fast pass, we get one next for Splash Mountain and keep it for later in the day also. Next Big Thunder Mountain, we ride it then usually another window has opened for the next fast pass and we get one for Big Thunder. It sounds like a lot of work, but we collect a lot of fast passes all morning long and then in the afternoon/evening we just cruise into the fast pass line. They never care if it is past the entry time, and its great to see the wait time 2 hrs for Splash Mountain and no more fast passes are available, but we have a lot for our group to use the whole afternoon. Works great. I'm sure that one day Disney will start charging for fast pass tickets, somewhat like Unviersal has for their VIP tickets. For now we have it all figured out and we never wait in lines anymore.

It basically starts out the same way familyguy described:

"WE usually get there for rope drop, (early entry when available) and head straight over to Indiana Jones to grab a fast pass and then quicklyover to Splash, then to HM, then to Pirates, and then we'll hit the fast Pass line for Indiana. ... By that time it's usually time to head over to DCA for rope drop over there where we go directly to..."

except once at DCA we do Soarin', ToT fastpasses/GRR fastpasses, Monsters Inc., then just kind of let it go from there. Usually this won't go past 11 a.m.

Sometimes we'll do things differently, like say we've decided we haven't been on the Fantasyland rides in a while (aside from Matterhorn and occasionally IASW/Mad Tea Party, we're not the Fantasyland types - I'm one of 4 teenage girls and our 10-year-old cousin), we'll do our day completely different, considering we've been going to Disneyland since we were babies.

BUT this year we are ALL getting APs!!! Me and my brilliant ideas! I persuaded my whole family to get them and actually pointed out that in the long run, Deluxe APs are cheaper than the tickets we buy every summer/every other winter. So things are probably going to change now as we may not even go to Disneyland unless it's early morning or late at night from now on.

HM in the evening. But really, mostly shopping, eating and people watching.

When Nemo opens -- we are going to spend a lot of time in that line.
