I'm not even sure how far away it is, or how we got the privilege of being called the "gateway" to that place! This is a great place to live (beautiful mountains, clean air, amazingly nice people, low crime rate, great jobs), EXCEPT from around July - September. Or when it's windy. Most of our trees slant sideways; it's common for us to have 60-80mph winds. Yuck! Other than that, though, it's great. Just ask the buzzards!
