It's wrong to take advantage of a situation to try and make yourself appear to have a disability. To mw it's the point that there are people with real needs for a wheelchair and to pretend to be in the same state is sick. I dont think it is a big deal that people who need wheelchairs get to go on the attraction in a shorter time, b/c in some people's cases who are ill can only stay a short time in the park.

Where I live a local cinema chain has "Mums and Bubs" Wednesday morning sessions so the mothers and their screaming brood can go and not ahve to worry about causing a disruption. You know it's a M&B session because it's heavily signposted - if you go expecting a quiet session, more fool you! I have LONG campaigned for the opposite - a an adults only session where people under 21, or hell, even 25 are not allowed in - phones are checked at the door and no food is allowed either. Just for people who ACTUALLY(SHOCK HORROR!!!!!)WANT TO WATCH A MOVIE!!!!! I have floated this idea with other people and they have said things like "OMG I WOULD SO GO TO THAT SESSION!!!!" People are sick to death of juvenile idiots that text, go up and down the stairs, talk and carry on like animals in a cinema. So a natural extension would be "child free days" at Disney theme parks - just for adults to enjoy without prams and strollers hitting your ankles and kids screaming around you. You can only imagine how THAT went down!!!

He can walk for periods of time, but it would wear on him. Since we had my nieces, when he felt like walking, we put the girls in the WC (they were 4 and 6) and when his knees hurt too much (usually because he forgot his pain meds) he rode. So, should he just not get to go to Disneyland because he appears to be a "faker"? BTW - We already have to use the HA entrances. So his being in a chair change that. And, in case people didn't know, MOST of the time, the HA queues are LONGER than standby, due to the limit of how many disabled can be on the ride for evac purposes (6 is the max on most rides.)

I never mind waiting so truly handicapped folks can get on sooner. When we had my friend Virginia on Grr we had to use the special loading area. When we came back they asked if we wanted to go around again. We said, "YES!!" (Loading and unloading was difficult.) I thought it was great of the CM's to let us do that.
