Mom fesses up, not pleased (and currently looking after her other 6 kids) her daughter was obsessed since a teenager to have kids but couldn't conceive, doesn't want to be married, was "using up" her frozen embryos, did not want to about the embryos or fetuses...

    Only in California :p

This is where I draw the line.

You don't "abort" frozen embryos. You discard them.

    glad to hear that

<I singled out Catholics because that religion is the one that (a) actively encourages its practitioners to have as many children as possible and (b)explicitly prohibits them from doing anything to keep that from happening<

I haven't heard that type of preachng ( have as many kids as you can)since I was young - and I am 54 now...

<I take public transportation to my job at the mall. Every single day, I ride the bus with young, un-partnered, not-very-bright women who obviously don't have the resources to raise their children in a healthy way. Once in the mall, I inevitably see examples of parents habitually mistreating their kids.

It would have been better all around had those children never been born.<

no, it would be better if they were placed with a loving family not if they had not been born. A lot of famous people came from screwed up families. I feel for the kids in this situation, I understand why it upsets you, but the blame if you will is misplaced.

For as much as the woman is to blame, greater blame...in my opinion...goes to the "doctors" who allowed this to happen. There is NO way this woman should have been allowed to be implanted with 4 eggs. This was about money...plain and simple.

And, now "mommy" wants $2 million from Oprah to tell her story.

Do docs get paid based on how many eggs are used, or????

At that point, they weren't frozen, but growing in her womb.

Seems as though it has been erased (I might have missed it, though).

As such, I can't possibly comment since I can't view the context in which I wrote that comment. I have no idea at what point the frozen embryos were no longer frozen, ect...

Did someone contact the management because I wrote something somehow offensive, or something?

When did my comments get erased?

Why does Douglas still have my comment to quote from, when it was (apparently) erased?

    Weird, huh?

When you go in for these types of treatments there is supposed to be a pretty extensive conversation that helps assure the doctors you are of the mindset to go through this. The woman was unmarried (not that it should matter that much) and already had 6 kids.

I haven't heard many fertility doctors come out and say, "sure, I would have implanted four eggs."

It is irresponsible. The mother of this woman is alluding to some sort of psychologial issue. No one else picked up on that?

But I guess populating the planet is important...right? (that goes out to all the "gay marriage will ruin us all" critics)

I think that obsessed is about right. From what I can put together she has a bachelors degree in Childhood Development (which I assume she got because of her obsession with babies), and concieved 14 children through IVF.
And no one noticed anything odd.
Now we have 8 pre-mature babies facing a lifetime of monumentally expensive health problems because Mom is a whack-a-doo. How is she NOT a menece to society?

    I will remain here indefinitely.

And the southern regions are hugely Islamic because Indonesia, which has the highest population of muslims in the world, is so very close. I won't go anywhere near those parts of the Philippines, no way!

The 'bakla' (homosexual), according to domestic culture, is broken down into:

'badings'---- males who look and act like females and want males who look and act like males

'tomboys'----females who look and act like males want females who look and act like females

'salihis' or 'acdc's'---- males who look and act like males want males who look and act like males and females who look and act like females

What I have noticed is that.....
'badings' are not attracted to other 'badings'; they want a 'real' man(locals call heteros 'real').

    and

'tomboys' are not attracted to other 'tomboys'; they want a 'real' woman.

    and

'salihis' want 'real' men and women

How did I do avromark----do you concur?

Anyway there is no need to hide here as movie stars, high ranking politicians and any commoner enjoys total acceptance even if they are part of the 'bakla' community.

Also 85% of the population is avowedly Roman Catholic.
