No, Dave has it right there.

You are one of the treasures of LP.com and, more importantly, the world!

As in I'm glad you are in it! :)

If we're going to joust at all here in WDW_ lets do it over shoddy maintenance, Poo playgrounds and refillable mugs.

I wholeheartedly agree -- it's not like there isn't material already, and seemingly more each year MK doesn't get upgraded or we lose more live entertainment. And occasionally, WDW throws us a bone with something pretty cool. I know I am looking forward to Midway Madness...it isn't a world beater, but I'll take something over nothing any day.

Do I ever agree with you vbdad. I went over to WE to find interesting debates on different World Events. All I found was beligerant hatred. I lasted about a week before I couldn't take it anymore. That's a shame because that forum could be the most interesting one on LP if it didn't have all the hostility.

IF folks aren't in dire straights because of the economy now is definetly the time to take a WDW vacation. Crowds will be low, and the bargains will be high. That buy 4 nights package, and get 7 plus a Two hundred dollar gift certificate is hard to pass up. With all my complaints about the World I still miss going. I haven't seen SSE with out the Epcot tagging nor the inside yet. Still haven't seen the excellent refurb of HM yet. I would especially be looking forward to riding Midway Madness it looks like a very fun ride, and the queue as well as the entire Pixar Place.
Just to get away from everything that is going on in the world right now, and take a lesisurely stroll around The World Showcase Lagoon would be worth the price. I agree with you. I get lost in the peace I find when I'm there. I only wish they would reinstate the true Disney standards of maintainence, and cleanliness once again.

Of course, Obama will record his own speech, but it's interesting to note that Disney was able to locate actual recordings of Washington and Lincoln that they'll be using in the attraction.

You don't think they are trying to trick us do you? They did on the Kilimanjaro Safari. I thought I was going to be gone for 2 weeks, and I was back in 15 minutes!

They normally start cutting back on hours after New Years. AK closes at 5, MK & DHS at 7, Epcot at 9. I don't know if those hours will be cut or if the extra morning, and evening hours will go away. Some entertainment has definetly already been cut.

I am surprised they changed their minds on the current president speaking - you know the same goofs that boo'd Clinton, and another set of goofs who boo'd Bush in there are still around - I can almost promise there will be booing and comments with Obama speaking...sadly

They didn't tell us it was Joe Lincoln and Bob Washington...

Considering that I'm speaking to ADULTS here instead of children, I would say there is a a big difference. I don't like you Dave, but I'm not going to make judgment calls on how you do your job, because I don't have any clue how you perform your job, just like you have absolutely no idea how I perform mine - unless you disguise yourself as a 10 year old and sit in my classroom every day. And if you did, you'll realize all the assumptions you make about me are pure unadulterated GARBAGE.

    You're completely unprofessional.

George Washington was dead for over 60 years by this time- so call me skeptical, but I'm guessing there are no voice recordings of Georgie
