Meanwhile, Marie Osmond was a guest on both specials, while The Jackson Five was a guest on "Sandy" and a lone Michael was a guest for the 25th. I think I prefer the older DL specials to the new ones...I can't stand the new WDW Xmas parades...In fact, when was the last time DL actually had a special? Wasn't it for DCA? If I recall, that special wasn't very good, although the ones for LightMagic and Tomorrowland 98 (syndicated, hosted by Alex Trebek) were decent. We need another random Celeb-at-DL special...some singing, some dancing, but a lot of shots of the stars actually riding and enjoying the rides...someone likable and not necessarily on the Disney payroll... Heck I'll even take the pairing of Disney-Loving Celeb with Disney-disliking Celeb-Who-Later-Likes-It-At-The-End-of-The-Special.

The Carrousel had already been moved. The Tuna Boat & Scull Rock were still there. I have a picture of this. I moved to CA in August and visited once or twice more that year. To my regret, I wasn't so much into taking pictures of everything going on back then, so I didn't really get any photos of the construction other than the one I mentioned. I do remember riding the Skyway over the construction, but, it was at night. The late Heather O'Roarke was the little girl in the Fantasyland special, which was titled "Believe You Can... And, You Can!" along with Morey Amsterdam.
