And yes, I will admit to tossing back a shooter or 12 while I was making them. However, it was all in the name of quality control. Purely innocent research.

Come on, tink, don't leave me hanging here.

I suppose everything passed "quality control"? You must have had one heck of a headache the next day! That is why NICE girls like me don't drink-- we're too focused on being bright and chipper, always a smile on our face. [Flashback to Barbie in Toy Story 2]

Besides Tink doesn't want to upset me, do you Tink? After all, she and I will be in Disneyland....TOGETHER! The Happiest Place on Earth! The World Where Dreams Come True....

    Fine...you win.

First off, the fact that you DON"T drink explains soooooooo much about you, and secondly, that Barbie from Toy Story????? I wanted to bash her little plastic face in!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't forget to pack your meds. And try not to embarras tink in DL.

What time are you leaving tomorrow? Not that I want to say goodbye or anything. I just want to know what time I can get on line and talk smack about you.

Did we ever answer tink's question, or did we just steal the thread and kidnap tink along the way?

Again, don't worry -- hey, tomorrow I will be in Disneyland right?!

Thanks for love, hugs, and pixie dust! Right back at you girlie!

I hope thing have cleared up since the last post.
I wanted to say that we have cont. to discuss airfare periodically throughout this thread. As a matter of fact we discussed it this afternoon.
I, also wanted to say that I wish we could share clothes b/c MollysMom could ship her already packed suitcase out to Hojos for me to wear everything in it, if I hadn't grown to a size 8.

mickeynewe...you on the boards today, or have you already left? I am VERY, VERY excited for you today, and I hope that all is well with you. You don't need to go into details with me...not today, anyway, for today is a very awesome day, and we don't need to go into unhappy things, and make you sad.

I will miss you two terribly while you are gone, but I know you will have the bestest time. Happy birthday to your DH, mickeynewe.

Do me a favor and have a Churro and a Dole Whip for me. I expect to hear all about your two trips when you get back.

Fly safe, drive safe, don't forget your sunscreen, and put on clean underwear every morning.

Tink and I talked things out last night -- that was good. I'm a little more optimistic too because I got a reassuring email from my doc to give me another boost of positiveness. So all is good and I have decided not to worry and to deal with things when I get back. It will all wait and there is no reason why we can't go and share this special family time together, we need it!

This morning my mom picked me up at the crack of dawn (okay 7:00 isn't exactly dawn, but close enough for her because she had to drive in to town to get me) and she took me to go get a new 'do for the trip. So my hair is all cut and fresh -- something its needed drastically -- and I'm gonna get started putting together the rest of my stuff and cleaning the house.

Okay, speaking of the house --- am I the only freak that can't stand coming home to a messy house? I have to have it in sparkling clean shape before I leave. My husband always teases me and wants to know why I leave it so clean for the burglars??

Well, my dear friend, have an awesome week without us --- don't miss us too much! Save up all the wit of yours so I can have a good dose of it when I get back! I shall look forward to it!

Oh, and one last thing --- do I have to put on clean underwear EVERY day? ugh

    *wink*

7:00 is not the crack of dawn, no matter where you are. Crazy Californians.

I, too, am getting my hair cut today. I actually got it cut about 6 weeks ago, and I am in desperate need of a trim. I used to have long hair, but had been wanting to cut it short for ages. I finally bit the bullet, and asked to have it cut like Lisa Rinna's hair. I love it so much, and I wish I had done it long ago. However, my bangs are so long that I can't see squat. I was hoping to hold off until next week, but no way. Once DH started barking at me, I knew I was getting a bit "doggy", and so off I go today to get trimmed.

I don't clean my house spotless before I go. Mainly because my housesitter is the 21 year old son of DH's best friend. He won't notice if my house is spotless when he gets there, and, well, there will be a 21 year old male at my house for a week, so what's the point.

Yes...clean drawers every day. Good Lord, get your mother on line here...we need to talk. What if you have some accident while you are away. Say you crash on Autopia, or fall out of the Jungle Cruise boat and have to be rushed to the hospital...with dirty drawers!!! Do you want to embarrass your mother like that?

Again, have the best trip ever....you will be missed bunches.

I can't pack them yet, b/c I still have to wear them for the next few days! (and the new pair I bought, I never found! lol Can I get any goofier?) The thrift shop is having a half price sale tomorrow and I am hoping some lady with nice capri pants just grew from an 8 to a 10 and donated all of her capris in mint condition. My Mom always gets there before I do and is going to scope out any capris and hold on to them for when I show up! lol (I'm telling you, the people that go to the thrift shops will run you right down to get something before you do. I blame it on Ebay!)
Is this the weekend with the jello shot party?

Yup...this is the big weekend. I have the shooters in the back of my Explorer in the ice chest here at work, my boss just left for the day to go get ready for the party, it's 95 degrees outside, and I am presently unsupervised. This is a lethal combination to be sure.

How was the party, mollysmom? I hope you aren't feeling any pain today!
We went to pick up our 1 day rental car this am for our ride to the airport tomorrow. The girl at the counter asked me for my itinerary. I didn't have anything with me, other than the Thrifty paperwork, so she said I couldn't rent a full size car without my itinerary. ????? Who knew???? I asked if I could get a mid size instead and she said "How about a van?" I didn't know if my coupon would cover a van, but she said it was fine b/c I didn't know about the full size rule or whatever. So, rather than stuff a midsize with all of my bags, I agreed to the van. We sign all of the paperwork and are heading to the # spot they gave us for our van and my DH said "I hope it's not a gold one" (We have a gold Town & Country mini van.) Well, guess what was sitting in our spot? You guessed it, a gold Town & Country, an exact replica of our car. So, we are now afraid we are going to return the wrong car in the wee hours of the am! lol

I'm not even going to ask if you are all ready to go. If you answered anything but "yes", I think I'd have a coronary.

The party was great fun. Three days of 95 degrees, a keg of beer, and 500 jello shooters. Yup, it doesn't get much better than that. I have a sunburn, and I got stung 5 times by hornets (I'm allergic), but I have lived to tell the tale, so life is good.

I'm REALLY jealous of your Town & Country rental van....I'm stuck with this crappy Ford Mustang. You are SOOOOO cool. :) :) :)
