No one was able to help me out on my problem until I contacted him directly and look how well that turned out!

Hey, Mollysmom, did you ever think that if you changed YOUR dates you'd be there at the same time as BOTH of us? Just think of the mischief! Our poor husbands...

You can visit the Magic Castle if you stay at their hotel. We aren't staying at the hotel this time, but we are going to "try" and get in since we are members of the S.A.M. If you live so far away they are supposed to allow other magicians the courtesy of visiting. We'll see if it works. My husband wants to go for his birthday which is on Friday, July 27th. In fact, I should try caling to make reservations.

Back on track -- try calling Willie and I'll keep looking for those dates too.

Sending lots of pixie dust your way.

Using that criteria, if you were to leave on July 25th, and return on August 8th, Sidestep.com has a flight with Delta to SNA at $299, and Kayak.com has a flight with United to LAX at $274.

Thank you so much for your help! I don't have sidestep on my computer anymore!

The fares are coming up as almost that much per person for CA. I don't think I can take the oppressive heat and humidity to go to WDW instead.

I'm not willin' to give up yet...somewhere in cyberspace there is a $198 fare, and I'm gonna find it. I got NO IDEA where to look, but we both saw it listed...back to work.........

I hate to fly, and I ONLY get on a plane to go to Disneyland. I will ONLY fly Alaska, and I will ONLY fly the shortest time in the air. Thus, my flights are usually more expensive, but I really don't care...I pay what they want me to. There is no way that I could ever fly cross country to Orlando.

Anyway...I'm gonna figure this Bestfares deal out...

As far as the bus and the train go...lol A friend of mine suggested driving and said it will ONLY take a week to get out there and a week to get back...

I even emailed for quotes for pkg. deals. But, the more I think about it today, I just want to go to CA. I can't look forward to FL in the summer.
We have two sons with autism and various other handicaps that they've picked up along the way. (OCD, Tourette's, seizure disorder.) My oldest son stays home with a caregiver for these two weeks every year b/c he is just too difficult to handle now that he's grown. (He has a better time and so do we! But, we feel guilty anyway!) I was reading some of your other thread about the heat being tough on you with your meds and I think the FL heat would be rough on my son that does go with us. (I have a "normal" son, too. He wouldn't have a problem either way, he said he's like to go to WDW again!)
