When I was a kid we walked to school, but one day it was pouring down rain. So Mom loaded us up in the car and in her robe and slippers she drove us to school. About a block from school, the car broke down. She wanted to crawl into a hole. She had to walk to a home near the school, in her robe and slippers, where I knew someone who could take her home. That was before cell phones!!

More and more lately though, they've been bugging me at night and I've been taking them off to sleep! So I'm wearing them around for hours, then sleeping without them. I'm a strange girl.

Oh, I also put on makeup before leaving the house every time. Yes, I'm one of THOSE weirdos. Not sure how it happened - my Mom isn't like that, I don't think.

There is a very cool restaurant in downtown Minneapolis called Hell's Kitchen where the waitstaff can often be found wearing kitschy robes and jammies, and customers are encouraged to do the same during the breakfast hours. (Given the winters here, I'm not about to do it, though.)

Wow. I haven't owned sweats in YEARS. Maybe I'll get some once I drop some more weight...
