Even the "NASA" explanation is a stretch for Buzz...especially since I don't recall our astronaughts being able to fly with a jet-pack with wings...I thought Jesse and Woody were slighlty better for the western segment...

    And Pocahontas represents Canada, right?

    What country does Stitch represent?

I'm not convinced that the animitronic child dressed like Pocahontas is in the Canada section in the US ride. The country sections are SOOO close together, how do you know what's just to the right of the Pocahontas costume?

In the world of Disney, Lilo and Stitch represent Hawaii. I have no problem with this one.

Hawaii isn't going into the America room? Hoo boy - they REALLY didn't think this through, did they.

Yeah, they could have corrected all the mistakes that were made by those dunderheads who designed this attraction in the first place.

-- There are no plaid mountains in Scotland!
-- Italy is actually much closer to France that it is to Holland!
    -- Santa is an adult!
-- Hippos are actually vicious creatures who would never nod contentedly while being painted purple with big pink flowers!
-- Canadian Mounties are also adults, and cannot actually pop the top of their heads up and down! (Except on South Park.)
    -- Carpets cannot actually fly!
    -- Cleopatra was an adult!
-- There are no mermaids! (Except in The Little Mermaid... which is a Disney film.)
-- Geese cannot be trained to honk in time to music! (They cannot be trained to do anything, actually.)
-- Dutch children do not wear wooden shoes and sit around in giant tulips!
    -- Beefeaters are adults!
-- Hyenas are vicious animals who would attack and eat small, singing children!
-- The depiction of a young boy choking a chicken is violent and (for some) suggestive!

Yes, someone really should start an online campaign to redress these deplorable errors. Adding a room depicting America while keeping Hawaii in a separate established area just compounds the situation.

(Kudos for pointing this out, BTW.)

You know, just because Disney had some fantasy type elements in the original Small World doesn't really mean that adding Disney cartoon characters is a good decision. But by all means, continue to ridicule anyone who doesn't agree with you.

Right now its just blind rage at this point, grasping and clawing to find anything to dislike about the ride.

In a few weeks we'll get back to rational arguments.

Not unless they're wiggling their ears and blowing bubbles.

You obviously aren't aware of what a sore point this is with many Hawaiians.
