We had 4 kids with our group (two 4 yr old and two 7 yr olds) so by Tues it was nice to not have to get up sooo early.

We also planned on taking breaks in the afternoon to swim and what-not. We got in the pool once at DLH and it was a bit chilly and crowded too (on a Sat). We got to where we just weren't ready to leave the parks in the afternoons. What would happen every day around 3:30 - 4:00 was that my 4 yr old would just crash and fall asleep. So we forced ourselves to leave and go back to the room for some chill time. That was also a good time for our 7 yr old to get homework done. But like I said, we planned on swimming every afternoon and taking a break, only it never actually turned out like I expected! I just was really never ready to leave the park! Having too much fun!!

Storybook Land boats were the same, only there were 2 of them. The lines were rather short, but we just stood there foreverrrrrr. Peter Pan and Alice both had about 20 min waits, which isn't really too long BUT when you figure you've stood in line for 20 minutes twice, that's 40 minutes right there of line and about 5 minutes total of ride!

Snow White, Mr. Toad, Pinochhio were all practically walk-ons. Pinochhio especially, we literally walked thru the entire queue and walked right onto the ride.

I have heard that there is a specific order to doing the rides in FL but I do not know what it is and we certainly didn't follow them. We always do EE for FL and then never go back to FL in the afternoon, so I can't even guess what FL is like later in the day. Plus that is where all the rides that the young kids want to ride, so it's sometimes nice to get it done and over with!

Normally when we have done EE in the past, it wasn't so bad, but it seems like that is everyone's plan is to hit FL first and then other areas of the park later.

Try it once and see, if it doesn't work out, sleep in on your other EE day!

A 10 minute wait for Snow White @ 9:15 was something I haven't experienced @ 9:15 when the park opens @ 8. Saturday is completely different. Not that many people are dedicated enough to get in line @ 6:30-40. Much easier to get on all the rides with minimal wait until the park opens. Once the park opens I start my quest for FPs. The other 2 days we were there, we slept in and took the day in at a casual pace.

What time do you suggest getting to the front gates for a 7:00 am EE?

I am thinking/hoping EE will not be so busy while we are there since the park opens officially at 8am (so EE will be 7 am). Probably wishful thinking on my part :)

mamacita I have read that for a 7 am EE time to be at the gates no later then 6:40 am. OY!

I would definitely say you won't want to do that early of an EE AND stay for one of the night shows, like Fantasmic or Fireworks. I would split those up on different days if possible.

But if your schedule doesn't allow for that, I would most definitely leave the park in the afternoon for a break and/or nap time back in your room.

I wouldn't think that too many people would brave the lines at 6:30 am, so hopefully you guys will have a not-so-crowded time in FL!!!
