I have looked in there on a few occasions, but never posted and always felt very dirty afterward ... very.

What is scary to me isn't just the level of discourse (although some of the views are just plain nuts in my very limited experience), but it's that it would seem a very large percentage of the folks there do NOT regularly post on any other boards here regularly.

I admit I am passionate about things, including this country and what has transpired in the last eight years. And I have been known to get into off-topic issues (like this one). But that happens naturally just like if I am speaking to someone in the real world.

I come here because it is a great site and community for Disney lovers and that's what I (mostly) want to talk about.

There are plenty of forums out there where you can talk about politics or abortion or gay marriage or what Brad Pitt said yesterday or how evil you think Dick Cheney is or how many Jonas Bros are just playing straight (ok, just slipped the last one in to see who was still with me).

I don't understand why one would come to a Disney forum and only post about things non-Disney. I honestly believe those folks have serious issues.

I am disappointed that rational guys I respect like VBDAD and Mr. X would waste their time wallowing in such filth, but we all makes our own choices.

I enjoy having discussions with vbdad, douglas, doug, and others with differing view points. You don't learn jack with group think.

Maybe WDW could hire you, and put you as a street performer at Epcot. It's getting a little thin over there.

It will only be a downer if some of the fat (heads) didn't take the money and crawl away.

    I'm awaiting word myself.

Somehow I doubt they'll be announcing anything this week with the Idol premiere.

They probably would require you to wear clothes while you performed.

easier than hitting the gym.....burns off calories......

and as I mentioned it comes and goes -- intriguing like a walkthru gang land - or skydiving.....a glimpse of the fringe. I can tell you after a little bit of time there -nothing you hear on the news - no matter how nuts - seems unthinkable any more
