With one city exception, I'll repeat: I believe Toronto's first Hard Rock was #2, at least that's what they told me. Also Hard Rock Toronto #2 is in the Skydome (I will not call it Rogers Centre) and is nice that if your lucky and time it you can eat while watching a game live. I haven't traveled nearly as much in the last couple of years as previously though. Maybe I'll hit the Detroit one in spring, hint hint

It always seemed to do very well and it was in a great location. We were surprised when it closed. Then they went and opened a Wendy's in it's place. Now that is closed too, but I can understand that and saw it coming. It's a high rent building and it's not on the ground floor, not a good spot for a fast food place.

A few months ago I finally checked out the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa which has been open a few years and is about 10 minutes from where I live. Not being a gambler, there wasn't really much for me there beyond the usual gold records, costumes worn by famous rockers, etc.
