That's why I like Disneyland better, you can see all the good "quality" attractions in less time.

My mom is trying to get us to go to FL with them this summer. We said no way, we will take the extra money that it would cost us to go out there & stay longer on site at DLR. Sorry I just have no desire what so ever to ever go back to WDW.

C'mon, Danny. You and I have been going back and forth for years.

You can't actually believe it's perception.

    What I see is reality.

Whether or not others can see/appreciate/comprehend that reality is really what you're talking about.

<<You and TDLFAN will always see the chipped paint and hear the bad sound on HM and smell the overflowing trashcans and experience nothing else.>>

I can't believe you're actually saying that. Really. I experience whatever there is on any given day ... the good, bad and ugly.

Sadly, at the MK, there is far, far more of the latter two than there ever has been before.

I spend the lion's share of my time at WDW at Epcot, DAK and the resorts. Each visit, I tend to spend less time at the MK because its management never ceases to find new ways to disappoint me.

<<I acknowledge the problems, wish they would get fixed, and still enjoy the MK immensely in spite of them. >>

I enjoy my visits to the MK, but usually because of the people I'm with. Or just because I enjoy people-watching while eating an ice cream sundae on Main Street (far superior to a Dole Whip, I might add). But do I enjoy the MK like I did 20 years ago? Or even 10 years ago?
    No, not even close.

What I'd like to know, since you visit DL pretty regularly is: can you honestly say that you get anywhere close to the same level of quality at the MK as you do at DL (and I'm talking everything from ambience and cleanliness to number of attractions to shopping and dining to parades and fireworks ... everything)?

I ask because I don't know one person who is a regular at both the MK and DL, and I visit both now on an almost monthly basis, who would say the MK is an equal or superior experience to DL.
Park to park. Not resort to 'resort.'

    Your serve ...

Obviously you are able to see the faults and shortcomings more than we do. I just feel so happy to be back that I maybe don't see some of what you do. When I set foot on WDW, I'm 12 again. But I still know a gross bathroom when I see it.

You and TDLFAN and I see exactly the same things. But you guys perceive much more of a problem out of them than I do. Perhaps in your mind this means that I'm deluding myself, or seeing with rose colored glass, which may be true. But the problems simply don't bother me to the extent that I would strongly suggest to newbies that they completely skip the MK, as TDLFAN has done many times in the past. For you the negatives are outweighing the positives. For me they are not. If that isn't perception I don't know what is.

Of course not, and I've said it many many times that DL as a park is far superior. That doesn't mean that I don't find any value at all in the MK. That would be like saying that I like filet mignon more than a good ribeye, so I'm never going to eat a ribeye again (sorry, that's a Texan thing - to use meat for a good analogy). I don't think the MK is in very good shape, needs a lot of care, and needs some new attractions of hight caliber than the Laughing Floor and the Pooh Playground. But saying that there's a need for improvement is a far cry from saying that the place is terrible and I don't want to go there - for me that just isn't true.

    >...and my draw is a whole lot quicker than Danny's!<

Your draw is louder, but in no way quicker!
