-Agreed. MGM used to be so special to me, had a major classic Hollywood feel to the place, a really great vibe. But somewhere along the long road the place lost that magic even though the classic Sunset and Hollywood Blv's are still intact. Maybe it has to do with a lack of updating, lack of rides, lack of classics, lack of pure charm once you get into the big studio look that is amongst a large portion of the park. I also think Rock'n Roller Coaster is poorly mis-placed, kind of ruins the feel at the end of Sunset for Tower. Still great down there but, I dunno, Aerosmith and 1930's hollywood? And Although I like the big blue hat, It's in a bad location blocking the magnificient CHinese Theater.

The Blue hat needs to be moved to "Toon STudios" and be utilized there otherwise scrap it because it's blocking the Chinese Theater. Hollywood and Sunset could become "Hollywood", while also including a newly transformed Stretch from Dino_Gerties to Star Tours making that area old Hollywood to tie in with Sunset and Hollywood Blv's. And then behind Toon Studiod you might have that be the Backlot.

Animal Kingdom most definitely. Theming quality and shaded areas. What more can you ask from Disney?

With some more TLC to fill in some of the negatives (such as the closing of WoL) it's good to go for another 25 years.

Animal Kingdom is right on Epcot's heels. It's still a tick behind in the rides and attractions department, and it will never have the depth of dining choices. A lot of the time it closes before all the other parks too, and that's a minus in my book.

I haven't been to the Studios or the MK in many years. Frankly, I don't feel like I'm missing anything, since I am a fairly regular vistor to DLR.

I do adore Epcot and DAK, along with the resort hotels though.

Oh please... don't make me have to answer that question yet again! But like I have said before over a million times... I feel WDW's offerings do not match they price they charge for the experience, and many attractions.. while unique and thrill-wise pleasing.. fail to impress me because of their less than exciting execution. But before you pass judgement on me as well... I have also complimented WDW many times on these boards as well, when a compliment is due, but it is not my fault that the other resorts in Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong and CA give me less reason to be...as you put it "pessimistic". My rants about WDW simple stem from my opinions about the overall quality at WDW does not match the price of admission they charge, which is only as huge as the property itself.

Comparing a single day admission, I would agree that WDW parks are overpriced in comparison to DLR, TDR, and DLPR (or should that be DPR, or PDR?) But if a four to seven day admission is factored, which is probably the most likely scenario, then the price is reasonable.

The single day passport price value would vary with the park... MK is not as good a value as DL, but Epcot is. DAK is a better value than DCA. And so on.

    Actually, it is DLRP.

Actually no, it's not reasonable. It means undercutting profits that could be made and applied to upgrading the overall qaulity of WDW and especially the MK. Furthermore, the only reason why you pay such low prices after adding more than 5 days to your passport is because of the local competition created from Universal, Sea World, and possibly Busch. Disney will sell their soul to the devil to keep you within it's borders for 5+ days... The sad concequence of that is the overpayment they have created for the 1-4 day passports...to make up a bit for the severe price drop on the 5-10day passes. If we didn't have those other theme parks in town, I doubt highly that WDW would be as affordable as it is..

He can be pretty mean sometimes can't he. I don't think he would steal candy from children though. Of course he does want to band them from the Parks, :)

True. I would slap them hard across the face, then take the candy, and run!
