It, unfortunately, makes MK less quality.

I, personally love EPCOT, but I think that AK might one day surpass them all.

If they, over the years, add a couple more E-tickets, and a night time spectacular, it will be THE park.

Also, they could realy use a solid D-ticket ride. Something for the whole family.

This can be attributed to DL's more intimate and upgraded theming. Those little touches... like the bricked walkways around DL and such, can make a huge difference. The MK simply does not have the level of detail and intimacy as DL does. Same goes for TDL, which to me is the worst offender in regards to the expansive spaces effectively robbing the park from being intimate.. This is also a reason why I love the feel of HKDL...small and lovely theming that can be better enjoy due to the smaller scale of it. DLP is in a league of it's own.. best designed DL park in all levels... can't get better than that.

Agreed... the posibilities could have been endless... the 20K lagoon would have been the perfect stop for a Mermaid Lagoon like TDS's... or even a similar Toontown area to that being opened at WDSP this month.. But no. Budgets are only allocated for playgrounds. Very sad.

I think I would enjoy Epcot more if we ever went without so many little kids tagging along. Our group always has at least one from the 10 and under group, and they just get antsy at Epcot when they know there are huge drops and fast coasters waiting for them across the lagoon at MGM.

MK is a piss- poor version of Anaheim's, Paris's and Tokyo's(and in some ways even HK's)

and MGM is becoming less noteworthy and relevant due to too much studio like offerings at other destinations.

I *think* maybe the only area where they are equal would be food.

Someone ... the wife of a Disney fan I know (but not one herself) recently referred to the MK as ''Orlando seems to be designed as a mass market caricature of Disneyland.''

I honestly don't believe I can put it any better.

I am amazed that so many people rate the MK so highly.

Ignorance is truly bliss, I guess.

No, it does not. And I also believe that Disneyland is a significantly better park than the Magic Kingdom for a number of reasons. Disneyland has more attractions, attractions that are better than their WDW counterparts (Pirates, Buzz, Space Mountain, Small World, etc), is cleaner and has more helpful CM than the Magic Kingdom.

But as far as the intimacy of Disneyland goes...

The entire park comes to a hellaciously crowded standstill during Fantasmic and the Fireworks. Any it may just be my frozen Minnesota brain, but I STILL have a heckuva a time finding my way out of New Orleans Square once I'm in there.

At times the wide open spaces of the Magic Kingdom has its advantages!

    :)

That's really not saying a lot for either park TDL or the MK. That is strictly my opinion though. While a lot of the food choicest are ok at the MK, there is not one place there that I would drive down the street in my town to eat at.

Ok, I've only ever been to WDW, so I can't compare, but I don't see MK as having wide open spaces.

They really enjoyed the Indiana Jones Ride,(8 times in 1 day) but the HM was all Jack Skellington'd for halloween, she didn't like that at all. Her feeling was she'd have liked DL better if she had never been to WDW. She was very happy to be back at WDW last year.

But DL is my fav park on the planet, and DLP is head and shoulders above. Looking at DL vs MK, I think most will recognise DL is far superior (unless you have ALOT of personal memories at MK).

If only they had their own Haunted Mansion Holiday, I think it would make MVMCP more of a sucess. I could go on forever about the rides I would like to see at MK.
