My next-door neighbor ... who golfs with a WDW marketing VP!

Someone posted her website a few months back, but I didn't save the url. >My next-door neighbor ... who golfs with a WDW marketing VP!< Most interesting! >...but the girl was soooooo over the top annoying and the production was waaaay to cheesy to even make it watchable...< I don't know what you categorize as production, but I have some expertise in that field. And I can tell you that from my point of view the production was first rate. You might not like the CONTENT, but it was put together extremely well.

We actually were making fun of it with other guest at the bus stop at the resort as others thought it was over the top as well. It's disappointing as I remember back in the early 1990's when the resort TV was fun to watch and was much more magical and got me excited to hit the parks. There was no host and they took a more sentimental view of the place. The vacation planning video is just as bad and was also better 15 years ago and the Disneland Resort TV is similar to the on at WDW and I just yearn for the days when all these productions were less annoying and more magical!!!

I think both videos are excellently produced - well shot, well lit, sound great, nicely edited. But perhaps you don't like the more modern style, or the faster pace. I agree that the older videos had much more charm about them. Now they try to pack in as much as they can in a short space, all high energy and hard sell. I liked the parts of the old videos when they pointed out that perhaps you might like to do . . . nothing at all . . . and then proceeded to show you all the great ways to do nothing in the World.
