I guess it just has to do with the Hotel.

I read about your dilemma with homework for the missed days. I don't know if your school district does this, but mine allows you to enroll your children into the "independent" studies program if there is a whole missed week to make up for the work. This way the school still gets paid and your children shouldn't have an overload of homework (well, more than usual, lol) when they return. Might be worth looking into! This way the kids will have the w/e's before and after to complete their assignments (not to mention the 6 hr drive to and from DL:)

I am thinking of taking my laptop and seeing if possibly her best friend will email her classwork/homework so she can work on it at night and also the weekend we return. Even if she forgets and "misses" an assignment or two, it will still give her a huge advantage over having to make it all up at one when we return.

Worse case scenario, I'll just rely on the good old cell phone so she can call for nightly assignments.

    Thanks again for the suggestion!

Are there seperate bldgs. there? (at the Castle) I was wondering if there was a more preferred bldg. that I might be able to request to be near the pool or closer to the street for less of a walk or whatever. It looks really nice on their website!
    Thanks for your help!
