I think for the most part the dino's @ T-Rex @ The Legends are better than most of the RC's I've been in. This is a cafe not a major theme park attraction. The only expense for the customer is the price of a meal or any merchandise they may purchase. You don't even have to eat or buy anything to take a peek. For those that enjoy this type of themed cafe I don't think it will disappoint. For those that don't, well you wouldn't go anyway so everyone should come out of this OK.

I can't remember how Rainforest does this, but's T-Rex will operate the same way.

The restaurant is owned and operated by Landry's (rainforest cafe, fultons crabhouse, the crab house, joes crab shack, ect.) The only thing Disney has to do with this restaurant is that its on their property and the are collecting rent each month. They have to approve the type of resturant. Disney has stated time and time again that if they made all of the downtown disney restaurants on their own it would take years and years as opposed to shorter times it takes for the participants. Never the less I think the restaurant is going to be amazing, I have seen most of the dinosaurs so far and they look very cool.

The atmosphere is pretty emersive with lots of things to stimulate the kids. I for one would prefer not to have it so vivid that you can't get the kids to eat. This place isn't priced like McD's after all.

Sorry, I was really hoping this would be a cool concept but myself, family, and kids are disappointed with the one here in KCK. Quite lame. Been there once, never went back.

After they were open a while it improved. Everybody has different ideas about what they like. Go and decide for yourself and don't feel bad if it doesn't float your boat and certainly don't feel bad for liking it. This isn't a place that would keep me coming back but neither are the RC's. We go occationally to the RC with younger family members because they get a kick out of it and mostly because it has one of my fave shopping areas. As I said it is what it is go if like or don't there are lots of other choices @ WDW.
