vbdad55: I don't think most people on LP want only positive news, but it can be discouraging to read thread after thread after thread where the positive posters are shouted down by the negative ones. There are times when I've seen dozens of vitriolic, scathing reviews of a movie or attraction that the posters haven't even seen or experienced, yet.

So to be told I don't love Disney or WDW because I have a negative opinion on something I do have first hand knowledge about is just as wrong-- same goes for any other poster who posts there opinion of something they have done or experienced. All is not perfect in Mickey land...I wish it was...that does not say I don't love WDW...or DL ...or Disney as a company...I am invested heavily both emotionally and financially in Disney, and I feel my opinions - even if they are negative of something in particular-- should count also..I think I have earned that right.

For people to say, don't look at the management or business side, just enjoy all the good things is an ostrich approach I cannot and will not take.

Thank you very much... you said a mouthful... EXACTLY!! You make a post about a restaurant or ride that you like, and get attacked because of it... like I've always said here... your just one person with one persons opinion... you don't need to call people names and belittle them because they don't agree with you..... I've posted threads to make people feel good illicit fun discussions, and all I get are nasty comments, like the post I made about guess where this photos from... go look at it... I was told to go post it somewhere else... (there are a few who do like it ) If my memory serves me right, there are many mnay posts in here talking about members visits to restaurants.. well there is a dining thread for that, no one needs to correct anybody here... it's supposed to be fun......

exactly and each is entitled their own opinions without being told that negative comments aren't welcome..need to view this from both sides not just one.

And I never belittle anyone -- that is a totally different issue-- if you have a problem with that-- call out the specific person, not a blanket statement. Very few people here who post comments about things that may be viewed as negative personally attack anyone....

If you have a problem with someone tell them so, don't broadbrush to include everyone wh may not have your point of view

absolutely- but then they should also not discredit or disavow that there is another viewpoint...as has been done here. To be told not to look at mgmt or business decisions and only look at the positives is just as wrong as what they are complaining about-- wouldn't you agree ?

You were ragging on Pooh Playground before it was even built. We had many arguments concerning this fact. Now, I was just as guilty as you, in defending it, before it was built.

Anyways, I said "BUSTED" in jest. I am not trying to call you out or treat you badly. I just thought it was funny.

    I agree. How uncalled for.

Now, if someone had attacked you for being a crossdressing, tiara-wearing, DVC-loving, Cal Grill eating, Cubbies fan, that would just be accurate!

In the context of the MK ... and Disney quality ... and what the park has been and should be about, I have yet to read one intelligent reason for why it exists.

Having toddlers who can run around it may give the stroller brigade a break from parenting duties, but that's just an opinion as to why they like it. Nothing at all to do with whether it belongs there or whether it is 'fits' or whether it is quality.

I was raggng on the concept of replacing an e-ticket with a playground- correct -- then when we actually saw the debacle that they presented, I turned the discussion to how bad that wason top of the replacement issue...but I would never have continued the crusade if I hadn;t viewed it first...for what it's worth

< I am not trying to call you out or treat you badly. I just thought it was funny.<

I do understand that and appreciate the fact that this has never gotten personal...
