"Year 3000" sounds different because it's a cover of a song originally written and performed by the former British group Busted.

As for that South Park episode- how dare they! Bad enough insulting those three darlings, they made Mickey Mouse have Donald Duck-like behavior. They're going up the river for that one. I hope that Disney and the JoBros sue their asses!

I'm sure they're nice kids and all but they sound like they've got hernias when they sing.

Are they talented? Sure it takes a bit of talent to play in a band, but nothing out of the ordinary.

All in the eye of the beholder. This is also why it is sometimes hard to argue against a super-fan. You are dead set in liking them, that's fine, but we don't all share your ideas.

As for South Park. If you can't appreciate how they make fun of everything, then you probably shouldn't be watching it.

Btw I believe saying "I'd sell quite a lot" and "young girl" in the same topic is entrapment.

Because they only appeal to tweenies...they have limited talent, and they would maybe have done fine as just the musical act, but their acting abilities approach zero...and they are approaching from below zero, at that. I've only seen random moments of their show...but it was so bad I had to actually get up and search for the remote.

Just goes to show you that anyone with a decent studio tech can sound good on tape.
