Why Disney should not rename Disney-MGM Studios

    But, if they INSIST on synergy, then why not call it "Disney/ABC Studios"? Besides, all they have to change is three little letters!

    Umm...none of the rides at Disney-MGM Studios really have to do with Disney either. You have Star Tours, the Great Movie Ride (which features almost no Disney scenes) and the Backlot Tour which is not really a tour through a backlot anyway.

    No wonder I don't like Disney-MGM Studios much.

    So your enjoyment of a Disney park solely depends on it having a bunch of singing cartoons? Overall, I like the non-character based stuff more. I can watch cartoons at home.

    The problem is Disney seems to able to only make cartoon stuff these days. The parks don't have variety anymore. That's why I'm afraid MGM will turn into another Fantasyland having little to do with Hollywood.
