    I believe it’s more the case of certain favored Creative Imagineers getting carte blanche with their project, and executives being dazzled with the display of technology. Unfortunately, the presentation that sold it was in a building that enhanced the animatronic and didn't place it in context.

    Seems pretty much like Universal's King Kong, which was presented more successfully.

    What's your metric for success? The Kong attraction in Orlando was one of the most problematic in that park -- which is one of the reasons it no longer exists anymore.
