I work around mostly older "old-school" men and I picked up this bad habit. I don't even realize I curse sometimes as I've picked up the word flow around me. My husband nudges me when I curse outside of work, and I am working on it. I am certain that men do not find cursing attractive in a woman.

My dad was verbally abusive for most of my life and it really sticks with a person. I still struggle with social anxiety and occasional depression today because of it. When I'm having a good day, the last thing I want to read is negativity on the boards. Like anything else though, we just have to take the bad with the good if we want to participate. =)

After we started going to a different church I realized how much I swore. I hardly ever swear now but I sure notice when other people do! I hear it all the time from customers at work. It's like there's nothing wrong with using nasty language. (I'm not talking he** or da**, but much, much worse!)
