But if certain terms are going to recur frequently in posts, it helps to know how the poster defines that term if it is being used in an atypical way.

My friends work in media. Hell, my enemies work in media. I understand how/why newsprint gets allocated. This wasn't a case of 'guys we got nothing ... anyone know of anything newsworthy we can weigh in on.' I gave the only two plausible reasons why that editorial appeared. <<Spirit, my friend TDLFAN likes you, so I don't want to believe that you're, um.... pathological.>> Yes. And my friend TDLFAN like you, so what? Maybe his taste is lacking sometimes! <<Please tell me you understand that if someone reviews your premises and fails to concur with your conclusion, it's possible that they simply disagree with you and that it's not de facto that they're too stupid to see the obvious truth.>> Of course not. But some folks, with a whole lot less knowledge of what goes on behind the scenes, often like to criticize and disagree with those of us who do ... maybe it's their way of spicing up these boards, I dunno. I just find it ignorant. You mentioned TDLFAN, so I'll use him as an example. If he mentions something about the inner workings of the airline industry, I believe him. I know he knows what he's talking about and I won't disagree just to stir it up. This isn't the first time you've blown into a thread I've posted extensively in and done a drive-by. It's as stale at the MK at this point. And even less magical!

I may be a Spirit, but I'm not all-knowing. That said, I'm not wrong here. <<Anyone you deem to have "less knowledge" than you and who disagrees with you is "ignorant.">> No. Not true again. Well, not true all the time, but frequently it is! <<To challenge you is to commit a "drive by.">> No. But you have a habit of doing so. This is at least the third time I can recall you doing so. It seems like your only purpose in this thread is to take a shot at me. If so ... go ahead.
