But that's the whole thing of "personal outrage", versus "collective justice", that we've all discussed over and over. I don't think the state should condone it (although my liberal side slumps in the face of terrorists, I'm very much in favor of the death penalty for them SO LONG AS THEY ARE FAIRLY TRIED AND FOUND GUILTY...no more gulags!). But that was long winded and probably useless but I just don't want you to get the impression that I feel any less strongly than you do (or any of us...aside from perhaps the families of the victims who feel even more strongly!), that those criminal pieces of filth deserve nothing less than to be killed. I just don't want us to lower ourselves to their sick level in the meantime. Working them over makes us thugs too. If they are tried and found guilty, kill them quick and done.
