If you protest taxation with these inane little pity parties and wind up protesting the taxation policies of an ex-president, you can appear to be mad as a hatter.

"Bush started it, now Obama has to finish it, and that makes you all look stupid," isn't quite the case.

No I don't. They're about a faction of this country unable to grasp that they lost an election, so they start bleating about socialism and other nonsense. They're about dittoheads wearing anti-Obama t-shirts and shoveling a lot of the same tired rhetoric that served them (and our country) so poorly the last 8 years.

I got their tea bag right here.

No, it says "collectively", meaning "as a group". And as I explained in the first post, my take on "insane" in this case is that they are, without thinking rationally, actively working AGAINST their own best interests. Again, as a group.

There are isolated conservative voices out there who are scared to death about this, but collectively the reality of the situation has gone out the window in their anger and panic.

Ah, but you're forgetting something. What you're forgetting is the fact that Republican leaders groveled before that radio blowhard Limbaugh. Meekly apologizing for having dared to criticize him.

So, you've got the party leadership on board.

    And why is that?

Why, it's because when they DID criticize that radio blowhard, their offices were deluged with calls, faxes, emails, and owls from "da base"..threatening to un-elect them if they didn't go back and say sorry to Rush RIGHT NOW.

As much as you'd like to believe it's "isolated pockets", at this point it has permeated the entire party. Like a virus.
