It was like it was a totally different attraction with as many things that were broken as there were. Especially the music.

But whatever they did and continue to do to the HM is fantastic. It ALWAYS looks great now. They must have a very strict maintenance schedule for it.

Maybe that's why they suck so bad (as SuperDry pointed out so clearly). I'm pretty sure many if not most if not all of the attractions in Tokyo get annual rehabs. If not annual, certainly frequent. And they are well maintained in between. But you don't need THAT fact to stand in the way of comparing, name ANYTHING in the Magic Kingdom and I'll prove to you that Tokyo Disneyland does it better. Anything.

Of course, it is possible with the Pow Wow party that Disney came thru and fixed many of the items, even quick fixes to make things look better for the Travel Business whorefest. <<Also, I'll just add some things that got me excited. There's new props all over the Jungle Cruise queue, and EVERY effect(including the waterfall across from load) was working last night during my shift. The team in charge of the Jungle has been top notch the past year, and I must thank them.>> That's good to hear. I didn't take any cruises around the jungle this time.

Unless you're looking for someone in TDO to take you under their ... ah ... uhm ... ugh ... wing and put you to ... use why would you want to give any credit to the MK or its management team. That park has been largely a disaster in ops and show quality since the turn of the century ... Bashing the MK has become en vogue with fans because the place simply isn't close to what it once was or what other MK-style parks are. Would you now suggest that TDL is an equal or lesser experience than MK? Or do you just miss O-Town/Bois-Town a lot?

My response to that BS is simply if people are coming only once and that's Disney's goal, then why would they give a flying &^%$ whether people have a magical time or not. It's either/or. Can't have it both ways.

If only the US parks could stay maintained like those in Tokyo; I guess the US park goers, as a whole, are either too ignorant to know what clean and fully operational mean or are just plain apathetic about quality.
