While Body Wars had the futuristic theme, the rest of the pavilion didn't, and I always felt that there were too many clashing styles going on.

I actually think they did a great job with that area - really brought back the old EPCOT Center feeling, but in an updated, 21st Century way. Though it was a very full and entertaining pavilion, it was a large departure from what they had done in the past. Before it's time, I guess. It was 5 years before the big EPCOT Center to Epcot'94 transition that brought us Innoventions, SSE94, and so many other "great" changes. However, I think, those 94 changes were good ones. They were just not carried out in full, and some were done in ways that dated themselves.

I think it had to do with the odd motions that accompanied BW. Like moving quickly forward then back with the pumping of the blood.
