A SW comedy tv series, debing developed by Seth "Robot Chicken" Green with full endorsement by the bloated chinned one. Lucas has all but successfully destroyed his creation.

A more accurate statement might be that management does indeed care that the guest has a good time and will be coming back, but they're going about it the wrong way.

Originally Posted By HokieSkipper <<Management at Disney don't care at all for the customer - they just want to make more money!">> I don't think anyone is saying that. They care enough to give people a fairly enjoyable time. But they honestly do not set out to give people a "above and beyond" experience anymore.

It won't be a "canon" creation.

We market to first time visitors kinda with the hope that they'll come back, but we won't have the "come back soon now hear?" type thing. People's expectations when they come to disney are pretty much higher than when they do anything else in they're life. That's what keeps them coming back, not the marketing

Originally Posted By HokieSkipper <<really ? Then why did they sell over 120,000 families DVC shares ? So they don't come back ? >> DVC is for the "Disney nut", not the casual toursist. 120,000 people are chump change to WDW's numbers.

Think of the ratio of disney fans to non-disney fans who visit the parks. We're slightly outnumered

Take into consideration how much it cost to buy into the best kept secret, plus the annual fees, plus the price of admission, plus food, and merchandise allotment. You end up with a substantial amount of chump change. Mickey isn't an idiot. He didn't set up DVC to make Disney hard corps fans happy. He set it up to make money. Lots of money.
