Even then, there is no entrance corridor like Main Street USA to speak of; once you're inside the gates, SE is right in your face.

There had been a rumor going around, at one time, that this was to happen, anyway. We're glad the Chinese Theatre has not been torn down and hope that it never is. It's become an important icon of this park--regardless of Management's attempts to hide it.

Recreating the Chinese Theater -- the actual Chinese Theater that still exists in Hollywood, seems redundant to me. Giving a nod to some of the architectural landmarks, yes. Recreating the actual Chinese Theater? No.

My uncle's friend worked that lot for the first half of the nineties, but I haven't ever heard about any major changes.

From there all the other pavillions and attractions form a neatly organized crazy eight around the hub. Animal Kingdom is also organzied with a central hub. The only poorly designed Disney parks in America are Disney's Hollywood and DCA and surprise surprise Disney is spending big bucks to revamp them.

All other parks have most walkways purposely smaller, more circuituous, more confined airspace and controlled sightlines. Epcot is my favorite.
