The concert was preceded by a brief videotaped greeting from Greg in which he explained his health situation and his reasons for leaving while introducing Sam. Sam was really quite good and his voice actually sounds quite a bit like Greg's. The kids in the audience didn't overall seem particularly bothered by the switch. -Jeff

I believe he was one of the founding members, and these guys were trained and educated in early education. They truly believed in educating and exposing PRESCHOOLERS AND TODDLERS to language, music, dance, and expressing oneself. My son was on the tail end of the Wiggles thing, but he would sing, dance and laugh when they were on and for that...I thank them. I wish Greg well.

Anthony and Jeff, who were members of a second rate rock band in the 70s and 80s called the Cockroaches, started the concept and went looking for a singer. They are trained early childhood teachers. They happened upon Gregg while he was doing a gig in a basement somewhere in Sydney, and well the rest is history. These entertainers are talented and more importantly, extremely astute individuals. They are pioneers in a genre that, in Australia at least, has created many copies and wannabes. May you retire with good health Gregg and may the wiggles continue to entertain our youngsters. I'm just proud that all you Americans have had the pleasure of their offerings!
