I looked at the BSC website and watched the LM preview video. There were very brief glimpses of the show building conceptual art, interior models and track layout. Based on that, I am betting on a one-story attraction. This is purely speculation but the vaulted ceilings will probably help maintain the illusion of being "under the sea."

All I know is that Disney better deliver an E-Ticket with all the hype.

One thing that I have not seen mentioned is the queue theming. They can really help set the tone for the ride if they are done right: Indy, Space Mountain, Star Tours and even Buzz. The conceptual art of the show building (again, a brief glimpse on the video) seems to reveal that the queue will begin right around the existing Palace of the Fine Arts structure. That means any inside queue will take place inside the show building....taking away precious real estate from the ride itself.

I would love to see a high-quality picture of the entire show building.

What hype? The only people hyping this thing are the fanboys on the Internet. Whatever Disney has said about the attraction, which has been very little so far, is what I'm going with for now. For some reason I don't have unusually high expectations for this attraction.

There is a link to BSC on the DCA page, for one. It is getting a fair amount of press. I want an E-Ticket but I am preparing myself for a B or C.

I think that is the original concept art. The newer concept is a more toned down building with the front being a large "hangar" type facade and a dark glass window facade... more like an exhibition hall.

I have not seen one. There is a cartoon one around but I would not go by it.

That's probably the one we're going to see. It definitely has a beach boardwalk feel. Reminds me of Santa Cruz.

Now that I have a better look (thanks, Hans) I am thinking that it could be a two-story attraction. Look at the size of the people compared to the size of the show building. Maybe it will be partly on floor 2 (land) and partly on floor 1 (under the sea). Who knows?

Also note that there is a canopy running along the front of the building. Could that be for an exterior queue?

I did not catch that before. I agree that it is probably for overflow exterior queue. I am sure there will be some indoor themed queue. I cannot think of any dark ride built from scratch that opened in the past 20+ years that did not have an indoor queue.

Yes... that's it. I think that is what we're getting. I actually like the original concept art better

I'm thinking that is the queue too and that the load area would be much like Midway Mania... very close to the front of the building & walkway.

The newer version is ok, but I absolutely hate the cutesy Little Mermaid sculpture that they are planning to stick on top of the Palace of Fine Arts dome. Yickity yuck. Maybe little embellishment will get cut by the budget axe in the final version.

The second one, while architectually interesting and it does look like the building in Santa Cruz, seems a bit severe and cold. It certainly fits the seaside theme but the first one has more joy and fun in it. It feels welcoming and more spirited.

Which building in Santa Cruz? Do you mean the Cocoanut Grove:

Still, the second one is nice, and does look like a classic boardwalk building.
