That's interesting. I heard it was going into DisneySea where the Roman ruins are. But you certainly have better sources than me! It's a shame, actually, since I think the Japanese would go nuts for the ride and, even though it's a "film" attraction, it has very high repeatibility.

I certainly won't complain, though, because it means that there will more likely be a unique attraction going in that isn't in another park.

Thanks for squashing those rumours Lee. I could not see it working in the rumoured location at TDS, unless major work was done to the backstage area. As for Paris all the rumours point the next big attraction being based on Ratatioulle in 2012. But some are claiming three smaller attractions for the Studios will come in 2010.

Well, if they do put Midway Mania in American Waterfront, I hope they keep DCA's victorian themeing. It would work perfectly there because it could be themed to Coney Island...which is basically what most seaside amusement parks in California were based on. So, at TDS, the theme could work...it would just need to be defined well enough...and not just shoved in with no logic.
