This was during the Food and Wine Festival. You will notice on the left handside of the Pavallion that there is an area where wine is for sale. The signs for the attractions are still present in the main lobby. But the corridors leading down to those attractions are closed. I can post more pics if requested.

    AH but not so!
The problem is, everything is closed at, in this case, 5:00. They would have been helped out the door anyway, they would not have seen much.

closing has always been a matter of convenience. It is also a delicate balance because where do you stop the Guests from coming in so as to not upset them when they are asked to leave inside.

The fact is, the closing message is generally given at 10 min before closing, so everyone was wraping up inside the pavillion. After the closing message, it is desireable to NOT allow any more guests inside the doors because they will hinder the on-rush of exiting guests and the problem would become someone inside the pavilion to get the entering guest back out. No matter how you look at it, after the closing message, no one should be allowed inside.

What is bothersome, is someone ran to a higher up complaining, and the Castmembers hands are tied here. Even if the castmember is right, he is wrong because Disney wants the guest to be happy in their experience at Disney Resorts, EVEN IF THE GUEST IS WRONG.

This Cast member may have gotton written up for doing his job because a Guest was not understanding of what was going on at the time and was unreasonable.

But the fact is, the Castmember did what he should have, he kept the guest out after the closing message was given.

There is no other way this could have gone. Cast member correct, Guest WRONG
