I did watch 1 season, didn't like it and won't watch it again, although I watch CBS during football season and get 30 or 40 promo's shoved down my throat a game, and if the promo's aren't funny then how in the hell is the show going to be funny.

I mean really, how long can they get away with Barney using the same joke over and over again

ORGOCH: Yeah, we just got a thing in the mail the other day, here in Morva, tellin' us our crystal balls won't be workin' right, neither, less'n they gits an 'upgrade' a some kind. So ya see--even in the Land a Prydain we's got bitten by the 'High Def' bug!!!

Witches - if your crystal balls are hooked up to cable or satellite, they'll be fine.

If you're using a regular TV antenna, get ye to the following website:
    https://www.dtv2009.gov/
and sign up for your $40 coupons from the government, which you can use to buy the converter box you'll need to keep getting your ... uh, what is it crystal balls get again?

The boxes are expected to be around $50, so it won't be much of a hardship after the coupons. Sign up quick ... they're predicting that they're going to run out of coupons soon.

Back on topic ... Do you think they'll settle **before** SAG's contract expires? Mighty unsportsmanlike of them, if so.

Sorry. You'll have to use digital incantations after February 17, 2009. The simple ones won't work anymore.

Yeah, bland, same-old-same-old dumbed down junk. But a couple of friends of mine (on the acting side) would be out of work were it to be cancelled, so I guess that show serves a purpose.

Not my taste. I like fresh.

SAG has complicated events as well. So that's not helping. The whole thing's getting rather messy.

I hope Nikki's right. I'd really like to be shooting some stuff later this year.

On this past Monday night, a well-placed little birdy told me that talks were going well behind the scenes. This is from the Producers' Perspective, but this is one of the negotiators and he's a good, reasonable guy.

Talks took a hit again Thursday, apparently, and things were not looking up. So I don't know where Nikki's info comes from (I admit it's been good most of the time) but it feels a few days late. Maybe because of the illness.

Anyway, I do hope I'm wrong. I didn't ask my source details of why things went south.

They figure if they throw a fit they will get what they want, no matter how ridiculous it is. They just need to grow up.
