It actually makes you like quite ignorant and foolish. Oh and EE, I WILL NOT use the "How do you know you won't like it if you haven't tried it" argument but I will say this. Do you know how ST appears at MGM(I refuse to use the other name)? There is just kinda an Imperial walker and a lame attempt at some ewok village thing there, right? Indy at DL is NOTHING like that but would probably be very different at MGM. At DL it fits PERFECTLY into the foliage, theming, walkway and river of the JC in AL. That was what I meant when I said, "It's like it has always been there". You simply wander off the main path there in AL and suddenly you're in this jungle setting with artifacts and temple architecture around you. It is STUNNING and that is even BEFORE the queue, which is even BEFORE THE RIDE!!!!!! Were Indy put into MGM you might have some faux facade with a giant cardboard cut out of Harrison Ford cracking a whip and maybe, if you were lucky, a jeep parked out the front with the music piped over the intercom. Indeed, were the same effort put into the exterior as was done at DL it would actually seem VERY strange to suddenly come across a very realistic jungle setting with lit torches and ancient statues in the studios - it would be WAYYY out of place! As it is at DL it fits INCREDIBLY and is just THE GREATEST Disney attraction in the US. Despite Hista's snarky comment, I WILL NOT use that card(and came here actually with the intention of NOT using it), but rather will say, as a theme park fan you REALLY owe it to yourself to experience EVERYTHING about this amazing attraction. I think your opinion would be different after that.

BUT... when you look at it ideally, and look at it, with JUST the story remaining, it doesn't fit because it's not Disney in the park dedicated to DISNEY storytelling. That's why it's the outlier...for me. See what I'm saying here? Beautiful theming and immersive queue aside, it's like shelving a science book in the history section. It might look like it fits, because if the information given, the type of presentation, but when you look at it closely, it's two different things. With that in mind, it's more in tune with the Studios. And I am sure at if done right (for once) a studio park could pull off a highly themed IJA perfectly. Heck...they already do the 30's theming well.
