So if EVERYONE was at IOA they left behind the diners.. But that aside opening weekend better have outdrawn WDW - if it's taking over the world as I keep hearing. I do know one team who went down early just to go to WWoHP and in 8 hours couldnot see if all because of the crowds- so I view that postiively for Uni but negatively for my plans in 5 weeks... I really hope it's manageable because I do want to see it.

There are some great athletes out there, but watching a one-nil game just doesn't get me exciting. <<One day I'll understand why Americans just don't like soccer like virtually every other nation on earth.>> The same reason we don't use the metric system. Or offer healthcare that makes sense. Because we are the greatest nation on earth and all others only wish they could carry our jock! <<Must be because it is free-flowing, skilful and fast - unlike baseball, basketball and that other game that is a poor relation of rugby. ))>> Baseball can be exciting (like the TWO perfect games we had recently) or dreadfully boring. Basketball is very exciting at the college level. NBA is very hit or miss and it's largely a sport where you can turn a game on with four minutes to go and that's all you need to watch. But FOOTBALL rules. Nothing like fall weeekends in the USA! <<Compliment him on his accent and his generosity with Little Squirt pins and that should turn the fountains of information on! >> <<Everyone loves my accent even if it is some weird mid-Atlantic drawl now - hugely embarrassing. I wish I could go back to my safe upper-middle class Home Counties upbringing!>> You can't have as weird an accent as Dave. It's like he ain't no American and he ain't no Brit ... nobody wants him and his accent must be why! ;-)

Now ... would you say Disney had those crowds for Everest's opening? Soarin? Mission Space? Lines outside the park ... waits longer than TDL has just to get in the land? Yeah, I'm sure this thing will be a drop in the bucket. Walk-on in August! Disney RULZ!!!

Being that there aren't that many opportunities to see Daniel Radcliffe, Michael Gambon and the others who I have no idea of their names in central Florida. From what we have been told the main attraction was 60-90 minute wait in the afternoon - that seems incredibly short for a park that had 100k standing outside. Or do they limit guests outside the land to keep everything inside the land to a "comfortable" level? (I sound like I'm beginning to care which I must nip in the bud now). Someone mentioned that IoA's cap is 40k which seems very light for a park of its size and capacity.

Baseball and basketball are ok in small doses. Can't wait for this stupid world cup thing to be over though.

I also sincerely hope when you took that picture of the quail tile you cried tears of joy and screamed, "Disney's potties are magical," over and over again while other tourists looked at you from a safe distance<< Wow, a whole year! Exciting!!!!!!! And that is exactly what happened. Don't forget that I was clutching a plush of Mickey sitting on a toilet, and wearing several thousand pins. ;-)

The money in soccer DWARFS the money in American Football. On the world stage American Football is little more than a curiosity, that funny game Americans like to play where they dress up like gladiators and beat each other up.
