When you have 55,000 CMs of course there will be a few bad ones but to say "That's why a good 1/4 of them aren't fit to work at a local burger joint" is just offensive to all of us." Uhm ... no, it may be offensive to the quarter though! And, while I realize ANY job dealing with the traveling public isn't easy, I'll stick by my guns on this one. In my experieces, which go back to WDW's start, I can say that in 2005 I can count on having half the CMs be absolutely great, another quarter who are slightly below average to slightly above and another quarter who are just plain awful and wouldn't have made it through the first interview with the company 20 years ago! Sorry, the truth hurts sometimes.

A lot of us are around the age of 18-21 and we don't ever do anything like that. I don't get why people justify actions because people are teenagers and apparently teenagers don't have to act in a normal and respectful manner.

But--sometimes--a witch just has to take her fun where she's lucky enough to find it--whether it be at home or out in the streets of Morva--in front of neighbors and total strangers! ORGOCH: Hmph! I cain't think a even ONE silly sap dumb 'nuff ta let her 'experience' him...

I find that what the "rest of the world" might allow to be too often quite disappointing. Last week I was working in the scoop ice cream place at Studios. In the middle of the afternoon, two of the CM's filling orders starting playing, flipping paper back and forth between them between filling orders. It culminated with one of them tossing a cup of water at the other. All of this while guests were waiting in line. Cute. In my mind, this kind of behavior, on stage, is grounds for immediate dismissal, for Disney at least. (And in my mind, other places too)

Turns out Lewis Goofy *is* a CM if you read that the same way I did! We were right. And, no offense at all to you, Lewis, but it's nice to see suspicions confirmed - and, nice to see a CM such as yourself who loves the company the way you do - I wish all CMs could have the positive attitude you do, sir!
