Yep. And the trippy "dripping strings shaped like an hourglass" at the end of ATIS. Little stuff like that was just so awesome in TL '67.

I remember the virtual trip thru Monsanto was well done. Maybe Disney needs to create vintage virtual rides for the Carousel of Progress. What 6 specific attractions would you choose to experience virtually? Just as Walt created the original CoP to re-create the past and future I would like to experience Disney past as it has changed and evolved.

It seems weird to say it today, but I also always got a kick out of the display of coming attractions they used to have on Main Street. Something about having something to look forward to on your next visit. (We used to go once every year or two.)

Flight to the Moon never clicked for me. Neither did the Peoplemover, and the old Subs got old pretty quickly.

Another place I always spent time in was the old Fantasyland Theater. Back in the days before home video, this was the only place I got to see some old Disney cartoons. For those who missed it, this was like the Main Street Cinema, but with a single screen, and a properly working sound system, and not always showing the same few cartoons over and over. I particularly remember that this was where I saw my first Winnie the Pooh short. I wish, I wish, I wish they would refurb the Main Street Cinema into a proper theater and show a rotating selection of obscure Disney titles there.

Like others, I was mesmerized by the Mighty Microscope in the Adventure Thru Inner Space attraction...how did they do that?! I miss the PeopleMover, now mostly for the views, but back then the the technology seemed amazing. Lastly I miss the Mark III Monorail trains with the expanded bubble cockpit, because even more coveted than riding in the nose cone, there was a small jump seat (or two?) up there along with the pilot.

OK, I usually keep up on new things in DL, but I don't think I've read about new flying saucers! Or maybe I did, and just forgot. :)

I used to love the candlemaking shop in Main Street.

And to me, two of the quintessential Disneyland experiences that are now gone were the Tahitian Terrace and the Golden Horseshoe review. WE used to do at least one if not both every trip. They were as important to me as PotC and HM. and I totally miss the immersive experience that took us to another time and or place, with little corporate synergy.

I of course adored Country Bear Jamboree and America Sings, they were must do attractions every time.

And I used to adore the Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland. Although Big Thunder is fun, the mine train could be ridden by anyone.

And of course, tomorrowland used to be amazing with Mission Control, the Mighty Microscope, the wonderful people mover and Circlevision (America the Beautiful being my fav).

Sadly, the only additions in the last 30 years that have impressed me have been Indy and Splash, but neither are very family friendly. It is a shame to say it, and the more corporate synergy for Disney that creeps in, the less interest I have in the place.
